Speaking of Paperwork

My youngest niece Ivy (just turned 4) is very excited about the adoption. Although what is a long wait for adults, can translate to an eternity for a 4 year old, we have talked to her about it almost from the beginning. They had to evacuate from Katrina so she was here quite a bit while Jon and I were working on our initial agency application. She heard me say I was doing "paperwork", saw the stacks of "paperwork" on my desk. She even kept me company in the office while I was working on "paperwork". She knew that it was all related to the adopotion.
Recently, she asked my sister to play with her. My sister replied "Mommie can't right now, I have some paperwork to do (probably meaning bills, mail, etc.) Ivy's eyes got wide and said "are we adopting a baby from China!!!"
