So I made a stop at Shannon's Online Pampered Chef Partay the other day and picked up a few things. One of the things I picked up was a Lemon Zester. Do I really NEED a lemon zester, probably not. I think I have made two or three things that called for lemon zest. Every time, I have had to Google "lemon zest" to see what it was. And right now I'm not exactly sure what it is. So I thought if I had an actual Zester, that would help. Go ahead and laugh - I can hear Brian and Andree' both laughing. They are both great cooks and can probably whip up zest without Google or a Lemon Zester.
It's actually a scorer as well so now when Jon mixes me up a yummy drink, he can put that fancy lime sliver on the edge of the glass.
Anyway, go check out Shannon's Partay - if you see something you can't live without, email her for her last name so she can get credit. They have something called Double Strength Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract. Oh my goodness. I wasn't sure I could be trusted with that. Maybe next time.

Hmmmmm, a lemon zester. OK, so you would really, really need one of those for, um, lemon cookies probably. Is that right? Did I guess correctly? Did I win a prize?!
I too have a zester.. I use it on rare occasions.. I found out later, there are other ways to get zest than with a "zester", but it is in red and that goes with all my other kitchen stuff. lol
Mary Mia - yes, I would think you definately need one for lemon cookies and think of the cookies you could make w/ that Double Strength Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract!!! Prize? Well maybe I could throw in about 15 yards of lime green fabric - what do you say?

Ummm I also have a lemon zester which I love....used to use the grater but usually would scrape my knuckles...yuck.
