We made it to our hotel in Guangzhou last night around 9:00pm. LuLu did great on the flight. The flight was just a little over an hour so it was good practice for the long flight home. Not so much for her, but practice for us of course.
It's now Saturday just before noon and we are already done with her visa photo and medical exam. She passed the "extensive" medical exam with flying colors. She now weighs 15.4 pounds.
When we returned from the medical exam, we spent some time with our facilitator and finished all the paperwork that is required for the US immigration side of things. Everything is going so smoothly, it's like we have been sprinkled with fairy dust this entire trip.
Thank you so much for the lovely comments, emails, thoughts and prayers. We haven't had a chance to respond to all of them but they mean a lot to us.
I realize it's the second post in a row without pictures. We'll try and get some up later today.

That's great news that your "practice flight" went so easily!!! Often, the hardest part of flying with a small child is take off and landing. One idea....get a few toys/books that she has not seen, and pack them in your carry-on. When she gets restless or bored on the flight, pull out something new. (Snacks are a great idea as well!)
YAY!!!! So glad she did so well on the medical!!! That must give you both a big relief to know she's healthy and that possible speed bump is removed from your path. She seems like a very happy, healthy little girl, and you are all so very lucky to have found each other:) I can't wait to see you again, and to meet your beautiful daughter in person!!!
(P.S. Did you find her a traditional dress? :) )
